FIGS Education's mission is to support overseas and international students in their plans to study in France.

  • Your enrolment will only take effect once you have paid the 1st deposit.
  • Once we have received this deposit, we will send you confirmation of your enrolment, which will enable you to start the process of applying for a student visa.
  • A visa can take up to 8 weeks in some countries.
  • This deposit is deductible from tuition fees.
  • It will be reimbursed in full if your visa is refused or if you fail your Access to Studies Diploma.

4. Student VISA

All students who are not nationals of the European Economic Area must obtain a long-stay visa to study in France for stays of more than 3 months.

Visa applications should be made to the French consulate or embassy in your place of residence.

The national long-stay visa valid as a residence permit (VLS-TS) for "students" (>3 months) is granted to foreign students wishing to continue their studies in a higher education establishment for a period of more than 3 months.

This visa is valid as a residence permit for the duration of its validity, once it has been approved by the OFII (Office Français de l'Immigration et de l'Intégration).

All you need to do is contact OFII as soon as you arrive in France.

5. Arrival in France

  • Let FIGS know when you have obtained your student visa and when you will be arriving at the school.
  • Make sure you pay the 2nd deposit before you arrive in France.
  • Pay the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC).
  • Initiate your social security registration (compulsory and free of charge).
  • After making an appointment, go to your campus to finalise your registration with your host institution.
